Linda Mazzola
Vice President of Corporate Affairs

Linda joined Unity Construction Services in 2004 as Director of Office Operations and was later escalated to Vice President of Corporate Affairs in 2006. She began her career in the construction industry in 2001 while working with P.J. Mechanical, a large commercial HVAC contractor based in New York City.

Linda works closely with Unity’s owner, Bob Hertling, regarding day to day company issues and decision making. As a graduate of St. John’s University, she utilizes her Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies to negotiate project contracts and advise the company’s project managers on contract language and its application to their project. Linda secures and fulfills industry licensing requirements and strategizes Unity’s marketing efforts. She works regularly with corporate insurance vendors and Unity’s legal counsel to both secure and manage Unity’s insurance needs and client requests, fulfill project bonding requirements and manage Unity’s legal matters.

In addition, Linda heads all human resource initiatives including hiring efforts, establishing company policies and procedures, managing the administrative staff, co-managing the construction staff and overseeing all administrative functions and facility requirements.
